(3.2.1) Bug Report: IPCB fader at 0%, GO starts cue and outputs at 100%

I have a cuelist with the master set to IPCB. I would like to be able to trigger this cuelist from a (comment)macro, but only want to see the output when the fader is set to 100%. When the fader is set to 0%, and I press "Go" (manually or via macro), the output of the cuelist is set to 100% and the cue starts. This seems to be strange behaviour to me. When moving the fader up, and back to 0% disables the output of the cuelist again (like it should). Until the next GO, then the same thing happens again.

This behaviour was also present in previous releases - nothing new in 3.2.1 ;) .

Have you tried the "FM" (Fade Master) Comment Macro?
ie - FM 2/100 (Fades Master 2 to 100%)

Indeed, it is expected that IPCB fader output goes to full when manually played. If intensity stayed at zero then it would technically be an i-fader again. Marty's suggestion of using a FM macro is completely valid and in version 3.2.x and greater you can actually specify a fade time for the FM macro such as FM1/100t3 which fades master 1 to 100% in 3 seconds.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I'll explain what I'm trying to achieve.

I'm using the IPC as a controlboard for media-servers. The main console for lighting differs per show but can be a GrandMA2 for example. I would like to trigger all video-chases from the main console, via MIDI. Everytime I receive midinote #1 from the main console on my IPC, I would like to trigger ALL chases I have. But only the faders I've put to 100% should be actually outputting.

Seems like you would just want regular i-faders in that case.

The chases aren't simple intensity chases, but also color and other parameters. That's why I thought about IPCB faders.
