pallete problem

Hi on wholehog3 soft. ver. 2.2.1.
4 kind of moving lights record color pallet blue.
then select 1 kind of moving lights cmy on default wheel on blue record, merge blue pallet clear.
then select them and press pallet blue and it' s not in there?
why? did it 5,6 times help please. Thx.

  • Well as ChrisTall has pointed out several factors come into play here that might be effecting this. I assume you are initially grabbing all for lights and putting them in a blue color using the same CMY values for each light and then recording a palette. This would result in a global color palette being created. If you did not have the same values for each light then either a per type or per fixture palette was created. If you then make a change to just one light using CMY and merge into the palette you should see one of the per type exceptions for that type get changed.

    It would be good to know more details on your procedure to help you out:
    1) Which fixture types are you using?
    2) What are your keystrokes/procedure for editing and recording?
