BB7 9ch personality

Recently put together a show with a bunch of ipix BB fixtures in mode 10.

I was surprised to find the 9ch personality has been moved to the uncommon fixture library.

I see there are now files that separate the colour channels from the intensity/strobe channels, so they patch as different fixtures.

I'm curious as to why, is there some programming advantage to this that I'm unaware of?

Hi,
Since this has come up can someone tell me if the BB4 strobe channel can
sync?
Was using them in 10 channel mode last week and i could not get the strobe channel to sync in any way...is that the way the fixtures work?

Hi C

I think that's the way the fixture works, they always strobe randomly.
I use a mark-off effect to get a synched strobe.

Any answers from High End folk to the original question I asked above?

Leggy, I am not sure what you mean by separate channels for intensity and color? You are talking about the Wash Master (16/8 bit) profiles?
