HOG3 LCD DISPLAY PROBLEM.
2 of our HOG3 consoles have a problem whit one internal LCD display.
On one console the left internal LCD and on the other the right internal LCD.
The problem on the consoles is the same.

When I start up the console the LCD has a random color shade over the entire screen.
The screen displays a misshaped view, and flickers a bit.
When I push the screen a bit, the screen goes back to normal conditions.
The problem comes back random, an whit different colors.

Do I need a new LCD screen?

Hello Rutger,
this is normally a contact problem.
There is a conversion PCB behind the screen. A white flat cable is connecting the PCB with the screen.
Remove it, clean contacts and put it back again. In the worst case, you need to replace the white cable but not the screen.

More than likely its just the ribbon cable behind the screen. If the console is under warranty I would recommend sending it in for warranty repair. If not then its not terribly difficult to remove the panels and get back behind the screens to see the ribbon cable and check it. You might want to call our service department for help when doing this if you are uncertain.
