I am currently running Hog3pc on my mac with bootcamp, but would love to run it through Parallels. I've tried this before, but the way that parallels works is, they make a shared folder for the system where all of the windows files go in the shared folder. Hog3PC looks for the show file in the C:/ drive whereas there is no C:/ drive on the shared folder. I tried to change the directory but the program says the server will not recognize the show in that folder.
I use Hog3PC in Parallels all the time (that's my remote focus).
I've never had to tell the software anything...it just creates where needed. I'll have to open in a little bit and see what's different...but yes, it can be run in Parallels.
BTW, my parallels is setup to look at my Bootcamp drive for it's software.
**SIDENOTE - I would not run Parallels in a SHOW situation...I much prefer Bootcamp as it's a full load and not a virtual setup.
[QUOTE=jxgriffi;59669] BTW, my parallels is setup to look at my Bootcamp drive for it's software.
I tried to install parallels onto my bootcamp partition and it said that it has to be installed on the mac osx partition. Is there an option where I can tell parallels to look for my already installed windows OS on the bootcamp partition while still being on the osx partition?
