I am currently using the Road Hog Console, not the full boar, and I am in need of a way to remotely fire cues on the board. Right now I have the idea that by using the MIDI Show Control Module and using a show control software on a computer hooked up to the module that i could vnc to the computer and initiate commands on the computer to play the next cue on the board. Would something like that setup work?
So from my understanding I would run the Touchosc on my iphone and it would relay to the computer in the standalone OSC and the command would go through the Uno into the Module and then on into the board to do what ever is commmanded?
So basically what I am asking is that I need TouchOSC, the Midi Module, and the Uno for all of this to work correct?
Here are the instructions: CoreMidi is supported natively on OSX and on Windows you just need to run a small app you can find here www.tobias-erichsen.de/rtpMIDI.html
If you're using a RH, you need 2 of the cables. One USB port on the RH is used for the UNO...and then ANOTHER cable goes into the PC. You connect the two MIDI ports together.
If you're just using Hog3PC, you can just use 1 to go into the PC.
