If you're using 3pc, sometimes it's faster to touch the cell on the playback bar rather than the choose button virtual front panel. This is also handy if you have a lot of wings attached.
Using an external keyboard with a console or with Hog 3 PC will allow you to hold ALT while pressing 1-0 to change the Choose buttons. It isn't allowed on the keypad, only with external keyboard.
