Ending FX

Is there a good way to end FX in a cuelist? Currently I program the cue, jump into cue editor, grab the channels pull up the FX engine and select the parameters that are in the FX and turn them off. It seems there should be key strokes when recording the cue to stop an FX.

    Be sure to have something in the programmer for the fixtures. Just selecting the fixtures and selecting "off" will not give a result (if I remember correctly).

    So, for example, select your fixtures...TOUCH (so that is pulls in information)...THEN select INTENSITY and select OFF. Record as Effect 101 (no need to select anything else)....just record the effect.

    See if that works for you. I have a template show and haven't built it in a while. I'm on a new show today that I can check the syntax and let you know.
