Bleed over between sequences

I am having an issue with certain colors, mostly magenta, bleeding over when switching from sequence to sequence.  One example uses blue and magenta lights "dancing", the next song uses a sequence with white and yellow.  When the white and yellow slider comes up the magenta lights come on to a certain spot on the slider and then it switches to the assigned colors.  Any thoughts??

  • Colours are basically Latest-Takes-Precedence.

So if the light was Magenta when it was last on, it's still going to be magenta (although off) until it's told to be another colour.

Also, fading from one colour to another always involves going through other colours - as you bring the fader up it will move from "previous colour" to "new colour" via whatever colours are in between.

When run on the Stack the console has "Move-While-Dark" function - [Move Dark] button - to avoid this by doing the adjustments to position, colour and gobos if the light is off when the previous step completes.

  • you might also try using the Go Mode on SFML.  Just turn Go Mode on, hit the bump button for the fader you are going to bring up.  This will change the colours before the intensity is raised.
