Can you be more specific? "Help" doesn't tell me anything about the problem you're having, which makes it very difficult to be of assistance!
To record colour palettes:
Set up the colour(s) you want in the palette.
Ensure you are in Device Select mode - [Dev Sel] is lit.
Select the fixtures you want to record into the palette
Hit [Rec Pal/Grp]
Hit [Color]
Hit the Device/Palette Select button where you want to record it.
This is exactly the same for all devices, regardless of what kind they are.
The device/palette buttons light up in white for every fixture that does not have colour mixing (CMY or RGB), as SmartFade ML doesn't know which colours are in your colour wheel.
It only shows the actual colour for colour mixing devices.
