Smartfade 1248 memory problems and SD card not recognized

Upon startup, sometimes my first programmed memory is lost. The channels are still patched so its easy to reprogram. Is this happening to anyone else? Any solutions? Also, i cant save to SD or SDHC. It doesnt seem to recognize the card.

if I also I have the same problem I already gave fat16 format and nothing is the standard 16mb memory ... : (

I called ETC and they suspected a hardware issue. They recalled the product and sent me a new one, free of charge.

Since the update to 3.0.2 v the card I always used for my Smartfade 2496, a simple 16MB SD card, is no longer working. The Smartfade gives an error that there's no card present, even when there is. Never had problems with the memory card reader before...
