Unable to choose board at startup?

So I've just recently started using SmartSoft with my SmartFade 2496, and it was working fine until today. As some of you know, when you start up SmartSoft, you can select which board to use, as in 1296,2496 or Moving Lights; but for some reason I don't have the option to do that anymore. Now it just opens up to a 1248 board and I can't change it. I've closed it and re-opened it, uninstalled it and reinstalling it, but it just wont work.

Does any of you know what I can do to fix it?

At the top of the application does it say online or offline?

Hello Daniel,

SmartSoft is seeing that your console is connected. It should automagically detect which variety of SmartFade you have. If you want to work with a different-sized console format, you should disconnect your board from the computer. Then you'll be presented with the choice of which console.
