USB cable

Hi,

To what extent can the length of USB which connects PC with SMARTFADE be lengthened at the maximum?

By the standard of USB, it is 5m.
Isn't there any person who used using the USB repeater etc.?

  • The USB standard defines the cable length and the maximum number of hubs you can place between - I believe it's 5 hubs.

    USB extenders are not part of the USB specification, and thus may or may not work.

    ETC therefore can't recommend any such devices, but some users may have experience with some specific units.
