I am using Clay Pakys’ Alpha Series lights (2 HPE 575, 2 SPOT 575, 2 WASH 575) and I am having trouble with just the pan attribute. All parameters are functioning properly from what I can tell but when I set the fixtures to 50-50, just the panning of the fixtures is off. I have found that when I set the devices to 40-50 it visually looks like 50-50. Again everything else looks fine; I wanted your input and help. I have tried the different fixture types in the patching and the current one selected for all of the lights seems to be working. Another question that I had is pertaining with a third gobo wheel. The Alpha Spot HPE is equipped with three gobo wheels and the Smartfade ML only allows me to move two of those three. Again, any advice would be appreciated. This is due to the pan rotation of these Clay Paky fixtures is not quite "centred" onto the base unit - they can go slightly further in one direction from the 'parallel' position than the other. You'll see this on ETC Revolutions as well.
The additional gobo wheel is under the "User" attributes on Params 2 - unfortunately I don't remember which User attrib is which on these particular fixtures.
Ok. I am having no trouble though when I am using another board (Hog III PC) Do you think that it could be the template for the Clay Pakys? If so can I edit the template?
Unfortunately, you cannot edit the contents of the library. What you could do is create a Focus Palette for those fixtures with an adjusted home position and use that until we can get the library fixed.
