SmartFade recording effects into Memories

Is it possible  to record an Effect into a memory? A the moment it looks as if when I try to record a ballyhoo into the memory I just get a snapshot and not the whole effect. Ideas?

  • If the effect is running, then [Rec Sel] or [Rec All], [Mem Bump] will record the running effect(s) into the memory along with everything else.
    - [Rec Sel] will only record the selected devices, so if nothing is selected it records nothing.
