Using Smartsoft ML to Control ProVideoPlayer over USB

RenewedVision's ProVideoPlayer now allows DMX control but I am not sure how to get DMX into the computer. Can I use the Smartfade ML's USB port to get DMX to the computer in order to control the video software?

Hi there -

No, this will not work. You will need to take DMX from the DMX output port and feed it back into the computer. The folks at RenewedVision should be able to suggest the best way to get DMX into a computer for use with their product - I expect a kind of DMX to USB cable adapter will be required.
