We have 2 Chauvet DMX Snow Machines (SM-150x), and have recently purchased an ETC Smartfade ML. Is there anyway to run the Snow Machines from the Smartfade ML? I'm not real familiar with either unit as they are both relatively new. I was thinking that maybe through the option of creating a custom fixture, I could use that to control the Snow Machines but am not sure. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, a custom fixture is probably the correct way to go for those snow machines. :-) Or, if they are as simple as an on-off control via DMX, you might also consider patching them to one of the Independent buttons.
