Smartfade ML buttons not working

For some reason some of the buttons on our smartfade ML aren't working properly. These include the Record Group button, the Record All and selected buttons for memory, the Copy, delete, edit keys, and the sequence recording buttons. I was able to store memories a short time ago, but wondering if i hit something to disable these buttons... Any fix?

Hi there -

Please check what mode you're running the console in -(paraphrased from page 5 of the latest version of the user manual):

Operating Modes
Hold the power button during start-up to enter the Operating Modes menu. This allows you to select different operating modes.

1. Press and hold the power button. (console must be off) The LCD shows the Operating Modes menu.

2. Select mode using Wheel (3)

>Full control
All functions available
>Control & Playback
No recording or patch functions.
>Playback only
All intensity and device direct control functions are disabled as well as record and patch.

3. Activate mode with the check/yes button. The console will enter the selected mode and continue to power up.

I'm thinking someone changed into one of the playback only modes.
