ColorSource PAR/Spot Manual

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the correct part of the forum but the manual for the ColorSource range of fixtures could do with a minor update to include the locking instructions to prevent address changes, as at the minuet it seems to be knowledge that one person knows and passes onto others. That being holding up and down lock the device or disabling RDM prevent the address from changing.

What document are you looking at? It's on page four of my CS Spot manual! It's under User Interface: User Interface Lock.

I hadn't checked the Spot's Manual, but it's definitely not in the PAR manuals that I can find on the website (Installation Manual).

The instructions are missing from every version of the user manual. The ETC Market Manager for Fixtures has been notified as well as the Technical Writing Manager.

The ColorSource PAR does use the same lock process as the Spot:

User interface lock

To lock: Press and hold the up and down arrows for three seconds to lock the user interface. The UI will show ‘Loc’ when locked.

To unlock: Press and hold the up and down arrows for three seconds to unlock the user interface.
