YouTube Video comnents, questions and the Forums - We need your help

Hi,

As many of you know, we have a library of videos on YouTube, most of which are also embedded on the www.etcconnect.com site as well.  We're pretty proud of this, so if you haven't seen it, please check it out in either location. (ETCVideoLibrary)

As the library has grown over the 18 months, occasionally we receive comments about the videos. Unfortunately, those comments are not monitored on a regular basis, but most comments come in the form of "Great! I like this!", or "Boo! I don't like that!" In fact, we've altogether stopped posting comments because most are reviews. Reviews can inform what we're doing, but aren't necessary to share with everybody, so sometimes when a commenter asks a question, it goes unanswered, which is atypical of ETC. Plus, there are a number of people finding us on YouTube that may not be familiar with ETC and all of the ways one can get questions answered.

We'd like to change that. Starting today, questions from YouTube, related to technical issues about a console, or whatever equipment is in question, will be reposted onto the Community Forums, and hopefully they can be answered in a timely manner by...you, the Community. In most cases, we will try to post a link to the video in question, so we all have a reference point, and a direct message will go back to the commenter via YouTube with a link to the Forum post.

We're still not going to post reviews of the videos, but if you do have specific criticism, or a change to be made to a video, please include an email address so we can get in touch offline.

Thanks very much, and we look forward to more video training in the coming years.
