I'm giving the #lighthack build a try with some Arduino components I had lying around, and I'm running into issues with the encoders. Nomad and the UNO are talking to each other fine, but both encoders will only send negative data regardless of which direction the knob is turned. I tried with several different encoders and they all behaved the same way for both the pan and tilt functions.
The encoders I'm using appear to be slightly different from what's in the official kit as they're already mounted to a board but this handy diagram helped to figure out which pins to use. (A0/A3 is DT and A1/A4 Clk for the encoders on the #lighthack diagram) Including this if the difference in Encoders may be related, but it doesn't seem like this should affect it.
