Our Lighhack has been in use for many months and is so useful I want to build a stronger one (and keep the current one as backup). I have a local place that can make an extremely attractive black anodized faceplate with superb labels. Where can I get the architectural drawings and 3D printer files for the faceplate please?
Look at https://github.com/ETCLabs/lighthack/tree/master/box_1 There is a pdf and STL file.
I used the STL file for my original and had a really good faceplate made for $40. This time around I was hoping for a metal faceplate. I can't see an easy way to convert the STL into a DFX or DWG format file. Wondering if any wizards around here had trod this path before?
I think Tinkercad can do it. You will find also online tools to convert from pdf.
I downloaded TInkerCad to have a look at it. But found an on-line service that converted the pdf to a dfx. Sent this away to the etchers to see if they can use it. Fingers crossed. Thanks
