Arduino not speaking to EOS

I uploaded the test sketch and just like the instructions say and the TX light blinking once per second. However when i launch the software I don’t see the messages that read "OSC USB Device Handshake Complete[OK]" and "OSC USB Device Handshake Initiated [ETCOSC?]" I believe I have the libraries all set up correctly so i am confused on why this doesn't work. does anyone have any ideas of how to troubleshoot?

(I am sorry for spamming the forums I am just very new to this whole thing and its very confusing for me and this project is due tomorrow morning)

  • Hello.  We're having the same problem.  We're using Arduino IDE 2.3.8, on a Mac Mini M1 with MacOs 26.3.1.  Our board is an ARDUINO UNO R3 that came with our Lighthack Kit.  The USB cable we're using came in the kit and is plugged into the mac directly.  We're using EOS 3.3.4.21. After trying to find our EOS version in Setup>Device (so we could post our difficulty here with all the details) we saw show control>OSC and then found the OSC USB toggle, and it works - we're getting the handshake! we also first in Setup>System>Show control>OSC toggled OSC RX and OSC TX to Enabled.
