You may notice in the upper right corner a control called Edit Page.
No, we haven't gone crazy and given everyone site design rights. We are experimenting with a feature that allows you to customize your homepage (which is called a Dashboard). You can customize the layout to show you the things that you are most interested in seeing.
There are widgets at the top that you can drag down onto your page and there are edit tools for the existing widgets we've placed there for you. (We've locked some of them to keep things civil and give you a way out)
Any changes you make here are only seen by you!
Because this is experimental, you might find that you don't have permissions to some areas so the widget might not appear or appear but have no content. Feel free to explore and report back your findings on whether we should keep this feature, change it, or turn it off altogether!
Be sure to save your changes to see the final result.
If you find yourself in a strange place and need to get back to the defaults, choose Revert to Default to restore the original settings back and wipe any customizing you may have done.
Because this is experimental, we may from time to time push site-wide changes that override or reset your chosen customization. We may also remove this feature without warning at any time.
