forum thread list, sticky posts

as mentioned in another post, i have a forum thread list on my homepage that is sorted to posts in which i have participated, sorted by descending date. sticky posts are sorted to the top and that's not really clever. i don't see any "regular" posts because there are too many sticky ones. i understand that sticky posts need to be at the top in a regular forum but in this context it's bad...

    Following back up on this, unfortunately it does not appear to be possible to exclude the sticky posts from always appearing at the top of the lists. I have played with this for several hours and the best I could come up with was hiding the threads, which then gives you blank pages if you have more sticky posts on a page than non-sticky posts.

    I'll keep an eye out for changes in this area in the future.
