Is it possible to change the email address associated with my etcconnect account?

Yes. When logged in, visit
www.etcconnect.com/.../Account-Information.aspx
or click on the Account Information button on the MyETC page.

When I do this and fill out the new email address, I get an error message saying that the user name already exists.

Can you PM me with your current email and the email you wish to use? I'll take a look on the back end.
If you had created another account using the other email address, it would not work because the other email address was already in use.
