One of two Elation Fuze Profile lights is dim

Question

I have two movers in my rig. They are both ELATION FUZE PROFILE (FUZ495). 
 In the past they have both worked fine, but on loading the same show, one of them is perpetually darker than the other. 
 Regardless of the image/focus settings we try to apply the fixture stays dark. 
 The "broken" fixture does seem capable of hitting the max intensity like other one, because if we go to EOS under lamp controls, and do a "Fixture Global Reset", after the rebooting sequence it will flash at full intensity, but then instantly go down to a much lower setting. 
 The intensity in EOS still shows 100% of course, but the output is just less. 
 
 Any ideas?

In case anyone has a similar issue in the future, we found the problem to be with the fixture itself. 
 Checking the error logs on the unit we see that there is a BaseFan Fault. 
 Resetting the light via unplugging or the global reset, will let the intensity be full, but then I'm guessing since the fan isn't working, it protects itself from getting too hot by limiting the intensity.
