trackspot lamp problem

there's couple of trackspot i used for star curtain.

but every once or twice being used. the lamp's blown
infact its brand new. this happen more than one of it.

can't efford for this to happen during showtime.

used philip,osram,GE. Its all the same result couple of time of used, its over.

what could be the cause?

  • Good one Chris!:) A loose socket can give you a bad day. Add the audio shake and its lights out. They might be cracked or have carbon build up on em. The connection needs to be clean and tight. As long as your looking in that direction check the fan. Make sure it spins without touching the sides. Most need cleaning. A nice stiff brush and some air will do it.
    (dont blow air thru the fan without blocking the blades so they wont spin)
    If you have gunk build up on the sides remove the two screw holdin in the fan and remove it. A little scrubbing bubbles and the goo will let loose.
    Re-insert the fan (proper side up!) plug back on the board and your good to go.:D
