[/FONT Hi Some boby try the new GE CSR700 in old Intellabeam 700hx, or other fixtures instead of the regular MSR700 Philips ? Is it Ok? The price is 35% less for GE.
In my experience, Phillips lamps are far superior in every way to the GE versions. Plus they seem to fail much more often than the Phillips. And when they fail they tend to explode. I would never use a GE lamp in any of my fixtures, just for the fear of having to replace heat shields after a lamp failure. Its just not worth the money to take that chance. Joshua Wood
