We have a couple of gobos in our X.Spots that have some minor scratches on the black/sliver coating around the outside of the gobo. What paint/coating does HES litho lab recommend for gobo touch ups? Thanks.
Travis, I'm told that the silver side is special formula that we use, but the black side can be cleaned up with Rust-Oleum High Heat 1000deg # 7778, which can be found at a local hardware store.
I usually set up a light table and have a few fine art brushes handy and a magnifying lens on my head to see the gobo close up. Black out everything but a circle the size of the gobo. At 1380 dpi the details are quite fine so take your time.
