I'm servicing 10 xspot stds and the head fan speeds are sounding unstable in a couple of them. Right now they're running patch 4.1.0. The only patch I could find was the one for the xtreme (4.1.5), but I haven't been having lamp dousing issues, just variable speeds in the head fans. Once or twice I've gotten optifan error notices without function problems, and homing them gets rid of the error notice.
The fixtures themselves are stable and run fine, aside from this fan issue. Should I go ahead and upload the new patch or not worry about it? While I'm a big fan of keeping everything updated, I'm also a fan of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
