I've got an Ibeam LCD controller with a standby button that won't turn off and it makes it hard (really hard) to do any shows with it. The mechanical switch works and the wires are sending the proper current. There are no burns on either board, all other buttons work, and all connectors have been resoldered. Any ideas on where to begin on the repair of this guy?
Hi, I had this problem with one of mine after i Stripped it to clean the switch surrounds, There was a build up of scum around the switch buttons. I found that after i put the thing back together i had a number of swithches that would get stuck. I loosened off the screws that fix the main board to the face plate and nipped them up enough to secure the board but all even enough to allow all the switches to operate. I hope this helps Paul from Aus
The buttons work perfectly and send the proper voltage. It seems to be something in the circuit boards and not the mechanical workings of the switches.
