Yes you can but you would have to remove the eprom and reflash it to version 4.0. You can usually find an electronic shop around that will copy a chip for you for around 10 bucks, so you would have to bring a 4.0v chip with you, or you can do what i did and just buy an eprom burner. Also you would have to buy a UV eraser if you buy an eprom burner.
