What is the name of the flat piece with lense behind the gobo, color and shutter wheels called? It sits right in front of the reflector. What is the purpose of the lens? The 2 units I have are cracked. Is this normal. They are 8/2000 models and pretty clean. No difference with the beam though.
The curvy cracks are caused by heat, clean your fans out once in a while and dont touch the coating on the filter, skin oil + heat increases the surface temps and helps degrade the filter. Clean tracspots run forever.:D
