Hi all,
I am running a Laser Show and we have 18 700HX's hooked up. About half of them do not work or work poorly, I am looking for someone that is familiar with repairing basic problems with them. I have 7 spare units to cannibalize and boxes of new and used parts. I spent about three hours working on them this morning and got 4 more working and a couple more may just need new bulbs which I have tons of, just little time to install them so far. I am a volunteer and know very little about them. I do have the manuals. One lights up then turns it’s self off, I found a loose connection to the bulb that had pitted so I replaced it, but it still shuts it’s self off after 5 or so seconds. Two others overheated because I did not know their vents had been plugged for the winter, I replaced both fuse housings as they were melted, but the lights still do not work, I will check the bulbs when I get a chance. I also have a few 1200’s, all but one works I think.
Anyone out there a 700HX guru?
