I have two x.spots that are having wierd tilt issues. The first seems to make that nasty grinding sound (like you pushed it out of position) when it tries to tilt (though it only happens when you are tilting when also panning making me think its a voltage drop or something. It never happens when tilting alone, and it's speed matches my others except when panning at the same time at full speed.
The second one, I'm not sure if it's the tilt motor, brake or the encoder. It does not home correctly. If you goto the extremes, it will hit, making me think its the encoder, though when it tries to move, you also hear that nice grinding sound, like it can't get enough ooph to move it (belt tension is fine) -- would that be a something as simple as the tilt brake or should I just order a motor and encoder and swap em both?
