Cyberlight shutters not closing

okay, i dont know if this is in the right spot but itll have to do. my church owns four cyberlights and 2 of them seem to be cursed because when we turn the dimmer all the way down from the console (grand MA full sized) the light dims but will not turn off. we are in the middle of a show (1 week left) and we need to fix this problem, because at the moment, during half the show there is a random light on in the 2 outside isles. PLEASE HELP US

  • You should check the mechanical home of the motors, it could be off. This is pretty time consuming you will have to basically pull the color module out of the fixture. You will have to connect the motor for the dimmer and then put the fixture in setup mode, that will energies the motors so you can check the mechanical home against the standoff stops.
If you don’t have that kind of time try making a cue that puts all the Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow color mixing at full this will make a color black and put the light level very low. It might not black it out all the way but it will be not as bright.
