Cyber SV flag problem

Ive got several used Cyber SV litho and by now im trying to repair them.

Some units have a similar problem:

2 flags of the same type(eg. 2 yellows) can´t be moved, not by dmx nor by hand.

I´m totally new to cyberlights but have a decent technical knowledge(engineer). Does anyone have a hint on what to look at first?

If you cannot move the motors by hand,
the motors have siezed up and need to be replaced.
unfortunatedly, they are somewhat difficult to replace on cyberlight, as the motor mount for colors is somewhat buried...

when the 2 motors have died, do i need to replace the driver as well?

you can try taking the power cables on the logic board to a known working color motor (eg cyan) and plug them in the yellow to verify the drivers still function.

or just swap the driver chip from a working motor to the one that is not working,
that will verify that the driver is still working.
Usually though, the motor is the problem, and the driver is just fine.
