Color Command Units

So I found a pretty good deal on some used Color Command units and I was looking for answers to a couple questions.

How how is the color mixing?
Good saturated & pastel colors?
Brightness compared to PAR 64 or S4 PAR?

Anything other input you have about the fixtures would be greatly appreciated.

  • If they have the rotary switches,
    Pass!!
Or take that into account when purchasing.
Nothing on color commands will cause you more pain than the old rotary switches.

And I agree with Christall, the Color powers are difficult to setup the first time.
But I would say that they are often hard to setup the 2nd 3rd, 4th and 5th time as well.
In any case, don't use the autoaddress it almost never works correctly in my experience.

That being said, nice light, even though it is a bit loud in quick color changes.
Personally, i prefer the color merge....
That was a cool S4 add on.....
