Dear Lighting Folks,
I could really use your noggins, please. I'm currently repairing a cyberlight, and it's really giving my head a spin. The problem is that whenever I run the cyber on its self test, the lamp will be just fine. However, whenever I plug in data, within about one minute, the lamp just shuts off. I have control of the rest of the instrument with data, but the dang thing just won't behave.
I have replaced the following whilst trying to troubleshoot this baby: the thermal fuse, the IC boot chip, the power supply board, the ballast, the 14 pin harness between the power supply and computer board, the igniter, and of course, the lamp. Does anybody have any suggestions? I could really use some advice. Thank you so much to all who have some input.
