Krytox

I was about to purchase some Krytox but I noticed that there are at least four different types. Krytox GPL 223, GPL 226, LVP, and XHT-ACX. Does anyone know what the proper kind to use is.

I was going to clean around the tensioners for pan n tilt then apply a small amount of Krytox to fix a noisy movement issue I have been having. Just thought I might throw that out there to see if that seems like one of the places you would want to use lubricant. Also does anyone know where you would and would not use Krytox. Obviously there are many places you would never use it but of the moving part areas I mean.

I've got X-spot, studio spots and studio colors.

I believe that is correct, but hopefully someone will pitch in..
As for the motor brakes, Don't Lubricate them!
That would defeat the purpose of them,
I would take them apart, and clean the aluminum surface with steel wool.
And gently clean the motor brake itself and see if that helps.
Otherwise, you could replace the motor brake and see if that solves the issue.
If you lubricate them, you definitely run the risk of having pan and tilt accuracy issues in the future.
