575 CMY CLR1 Err

i have a 575 CMY that is giving me the "CLR1 Err". Where do i start? I have read that it may just be a dirty sensor but am unsure of where that is to clean..

I do realize that it could be a bigger problem than just a little dirt but if a quick spot cleaning is all it takes I'd be really happy!

Any help would be great.

  • If you do have to replace the motor do it in a well lit area and lay out a towel for the parts. Pay special attention to the nylon washers!
Get some Krytox to re lube the wheels and see this post for some tips.

Where the top lock ring is set on the shaft is paramount to making it all work again. Be very careful.
