With a brand new bulb,
The light was fine one day, now bulb wont strike. How can i determine weather its the cap, or the pwr supply, or both.

Thanks in advance!

  • Very typical of Studio 575's being run on 120 volt.
I have tours of them, and they will blow a few fuses a season.

Be careful when you replace it to replace it with the correct "Ultra Fast"
fuse, otherwise if it doesn't blow fast enough next time, it may take the Lamp power supply with it.

Also when you replace it, make sure the fuse holders are pinched tight before you replace it, as I have had several lamp power supplies need to have their burned fuse holders replaced.
