I do not use grease, I have had nothing but trouble with units that have had grease applied. Typically when grease is needed it means that the surfaces have gotten oxidized or rusted and it's bet to replace the mating parts. In extreme cases I use clay paky's million dollar grease I forget the actual name but it is a food grade grease made by DuPont and it costs about 80 bucks for a 4oz tube.
