I replaced a lamp in a SS 575, and it would not strike. The display says 'cool', like it's cooling down after killing the lamp, but, the fixture itself is already cool enough for the lamp to strike.
is there a temperature sensor that has gone bad?
I put the lamp into another fixture, and it fired right up.
