studio color 575 (208v) M ballast compatible with studio color 575 (110v) S
I have a few ballasts from M units but I blew an S ballast and no S spares. Can I safely use a studio color 575 (208v) M ballast in a studio color 575 (110v) S ? Thank you.
I recommend not attempting this. The M has a magnetic ballast and the S has the switching lamp power supply (ballast). The wiring is different and the igniter's are different. The M does not have lamp control. The lamp is on or off with power only. The S has lamp control through the logic board which talks to the lamp power supply.
