Hello, a couple months ago a company I work with bought some Sola Spot 2000. Great light but after reading around I found out there are two models. An Ultra Bright and a High CRI model. Is there a way to tell the difference between the two ?
Hi there!! There are two different LED engine types for the SolaSpot 2000. The High CRI LED engine increases the Color Rendering Index of the fixture for better color mixing but decreases the output slightly. The Ultra-Bright LED engine has the maximum light output but with a lowered Color Rendering Index.
Here are the comparisons from our technical data sheet:
High CRI- 6500K Lumen Output: 20,000 CRI: >90 Color Temperature: 6500K
Ultra-Brite- 6500K Lumen Output: 25,000 CRI: >75 Color Temperature: 6500K
