Hunging

Not really sure what your question is, but you should consult a qualified rigger if you are concerned with safety.

Are you concerned about the angle of the projector or actual fixture? I think this is what he wants. HES say not to hang a DL.3 on a strange angle.. could be the same thing..?

Okay I understand now....the user manual suggests hanging with 4 clamps and you want to hang with 2.

This should be OK as long as your clamps are each rated to handle the full 170# of the fixture.

Please see the excerpt from the DML-1200 User Guide below. You can use the corner points, but it is recommended that you use 4 hang points.

"Rigging points and rigging clamps

Four slots are longitudinally (A) oriented and four slots are transversely (B) oriented. Each slot contains a rigging point of which the position in the slot can be adjusted depending on the size of the truss installation. The rigging clamps (C) can be attached to those rigging points, which allows an easy and fast physical setup of the device in a hanging configuration. The 4 corners contains also each a rigging point as well as 2 fixed positions in the middle of two sides.

Warning: Always use four (4) rigging points, equally spread, to suspend the device."
