We are always working to improve the DL2, and the noise of the fans is definately something that concerns us. There may be some changes in the future that make the fixtures run quieter, but for now we can make no promises.
We are aware of some issues with our filter code that might be causing the fans to run higher than they should, and we hope to have these sorted out soon.
For now, make sure to keep the filters (both the main hepa filter and the projector filters) clean and that will insure that the DL2s are running as quiet as possible.
