Is the DL2 offered with different hard drive capacities? I didn't think that it was, but we have a customer who is requesting them with a 280G drive installed. I thought that the size of the drive was more like 80G.
The DL.2s did receive an upgrade to their hard drives around November of last year. The original drive offered was a 80GB drive, and now they are shipping with 320GB drives.
With the old drives there was about 65 GB of space for user content, and now with the 320 GB drives there is around 290GB.
They and the AXONs not only have larger drives, but newer processors (now Intel Core 2 Duos as opposed to the older P4HT 3.2 GHz), and newer video cards as well (ATI 1900 as opposed to the older 850).
I think as hardware evolves over the years, more changes will be made no doubt.
